The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro – Black / Chambray – Light Graphite were released on February 20, 2006 and retailed for $120. They feature a black suede upper with with chambray (light blue) and grey accents, which can be seen on the Jumpman logo, midsole, and tongue of the shoe. The shoe’s design is quite interesting, as it features an inner sock or inner shoe, similar to the Nike Air Huarache technology, which is intended to really conform to your foot. They Air Jordan 7 (VII) was designed by Jordan brand mastermind Tinker Hatfield, and was influenced by Western African tribal patterns, which were on a poster he purchased in Portland. His intention for the shoe was to stay young and interesting, while remaining sophisticated.
The Air Jordan VII was debuted in 1991.Nothing could stop Michael and his confidence must have been at least 110% by this time. It's unforgettable that Jordan led Dream Team of ‘92,went off to the Olympics bringing home another gold medal for the USA.
Nike released a special Olympic color combo of the Air Jordan VII model which featured Jordan's Olympic jersey number, 9 while all of the previous Air Jordans models that featured his jersey number had always been the number 23.The Air Jordan VII which created by Tinker Hatfield had many similarities with the Air Jordan VI model. The Air Jordans 7 is a very unique shoe in the Jordan line as well as a basketball shoe.As it used some of the Nike Huarache technology which made the shoe really stick to your foot. Also the shoe was much lighter weight than some of the previous Air Jordans. The Air Jordans Retro 7 was no longer feature the visible air sole, the Nike Air logo, and the yellowing soles, which make it unique. The Air Jordan VII model is also commonly known as the "Hares" for the commercials promoting the shoe featured cartoon character Bugs Bunny.
Air Jordan VII was released a variety of retros in 2002 and also in 2004,and again in 2006 with different colors. In addition, in 2008, Nike released the black and blue only owned by Cheikh Mbacké, ordered for $600.
